Want to raise brand awareness? Keep it short and simple.

Energiedirect.nl, a Dutch challenger in the energy market, asked us to create a brand campaign celebrating the ease of their green energy products and services.Energiedirect.nl is known for its user-friendliness and no-nonsense attitude, so we decide to keep all the ads short and simple.

The little stories revolve around a remarkable character called Klaas. He’s a man of few words who simplifies complicated questions and shows how energiedirect.nl breaks with illogical conventions. Why is buying solar panels so complicated? Who pays for that expensive welcoming gift? The videos and messages are funny, simple and fast.

The results were immediate. In its first months, the campaign was able to reach a brand awareness of 63%, an all time high for the brand.
